Ada Wong and Eric Liu of Littlemore Interior Design designed a small but modern apartment in Hong Kong for their client, a young woman, and her cat.

The apartment was built 35 years ago and needed to be updated to create a space for the client to refresh and rejuvenate after fast-paced city life.

The existing apartment, which was divided into many smaller spaces, was converted into the main room with no partitions, allowing natural light to fill the room.

The open-plan living room and bedroom include a pecan-patterned wall that is used to connect and hide different areas such as the bathroom door, structural column, and wardrobe. It also serves as a backdrop for the TV.

At the end of the wall is a small work area highlighted with blue textured wallpaper, which adds bright colors to the interior. A large armchair by the window is an additional place to relax.
